Three years ago, America invaded Iraq. In that time over 2300 American Military personnel have died and over 17,000 have been wounded. (official estimates)

Approximately 35,000 Iraqi civilians have also been killed, although how many by Americans and how many by other Iraqis is unclear. Nobody even really knows how many Iraqis have been killed because neither the Pentagon nor the Iraqi government is counting.

One thing we are counting is the money: $320 Billion Dollars.

$320 Billion Dollars. Over $1000 spent by each American Man, Woman and Child. So far.

An article in today's Los Angeles Times raises questions about mercury levels of tuna in LA's best known sushi bars. Eli Saddler, a public health analyst and attorney for the advocacy site GotMercury.org says, "Our testing shows a pattern of mercury levels being significantly higher than what the FDA reports. Eating sushi has become the new Russian roulette."
